Costs
The total trip costs are $1500 + airfare. The $1500 covers all meals, ground transportation, housing, tourist activities, guides, translators, and a donation for supplies at the clinic. Airfare is variable, but from Alaska is typically around $1000 round trip.

Registration and required documentation
In order to be compliant with local rules and regulations, we are required to submit documentation for every person in our delegation.
Non-clinical participants:
- COVID vax card
- Valid passport (expiration date must be 6 months beyond October 30, 2023)
- Flight itinerary with your name clearly visible on the document
- Completion of the Required Documents for Alaska Delegation 2023 form
Clinical participants:
- COVID vax card
- Valid passport (expiration date must be 6 months beyond October 30, 2023)
- Flight itinerary with your name clearly visible on the document
- Completion of the Curriculum Vitae de los Medicos Voluntarios form
- Completion of the Required Documents for Alaska Delegation 2023 form
- Notarized copy of your medical/nursing/dental/vet/etc school diploma (must be re-notarized every year you travel to Nica). If your name has changed since it was issued, please add a note such as, “Jane Doe was my maiden name”. This will be uploaded to the “Curriculum Vitae” form.
- Notarized copy of your current license and any certifications you have. (must be re-notarized every year you travel to Nica) This will be uploaded to the “Curriculum Vitae” form.
